Evidence
Evidence-Led Approach
Laboratory, Institutional and Measurement Evidence
Decarb Matrix separates the categories of evidence it holds, because they carry different weight. Laboratory analysis, institutional testing engagements, accredited-laboratory testing and field measurement each establish something specific, and none of them establishes the others.

Evidence Lens
What each evidence type establishes
Laboratory Analysis
- Establishes
- Selected fuel-property values in a supporting laboratory-analysis summary.
- Scope and interpretation
- Not product certification, accreditation or a standards-compliance statement, and not a fuel-consumption or emissions result.
Institutional Engagement
- Establishes
- Recorded testing and evaluation engagements.
- Scope and interpretation
- Not endorsement or certification.
Accredited Laboratory
- Establishes
- Testing conducted through laboratories accredited by NABL.
- Scope and interpretation
- Accreditation applies to the testing laboratory and its applicable test scope, not to the product.
Field Measurement
- Establishes
- Performance measured on specific assets under recorded conditions.
- Scope and interpretation
- Specific to the recorded equipment, operating conditions, measurement period and methodology. Not a universal outcome.
Customer Testimonial
- Establishes
- Customer-reported experience.
- Scope and interpretation
- Not an independent test, laboratory result or controlled field trial. Does not establish performance for other fleets, duty cycles or applications.
Each class establishes something different. Position does not indicate a stronger product claim.
Institutional and technical engagement
Recorded engagements
Recorded engagements include product testing with an IIT institution in Hyderabad, scientific testing and technical evaluation with a BITS institution in Hyderabad, and memoranda of understanding with IIT and EPTRI. Names do not imply certification or endorsement.
Standards-related testing
Accredited-laboratory testing
Testing conducted through NABL-accredited laboratories does not constitute DeCarb product certification, approval, endorsement or a standards-compliance statement.
Measurement Discipline
Every claim used commercially is held against the evidence type that produced it.
- Laboratory analysis is not treated as a field result.
- A field result is not treated as a universal outcome.
- A customer report is not treated as an independent test.
Evidence Governance
Evidence exists. Evidence is governed. Only cleared evidence becomes public proof.
A record moves forward only when the preceding check is complete.
- 01 Evidence located
- 02 Source review
- 03 Methodology review
- 04 Permission check
- 05 Publication decision
- 06 Public proof
Historical technical, commercial and field-performance records retain the original entity named on the source record. Historical records are presented with their historical product identity. They are not represented as current DeCarb product evidence or used as a default assumption. Customer names, quotations, logos and quantitative results are published only where the relevant permission is confirmed.
