What we store
| Name | Type | Used on | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
dm_session | Cookie | Pages with a form | Keeps the form's security token and, if something needs correcting, your typed details and the error messages. | Deleted when you close your browser |
dm-door | Browser storage | Every page | Remembers whether you chose For Industry or For Vehicle Owners at the top of the page. | Until you clear your browser's site data |
dm-mileage-v1 | Browser storage | Mileage Baseline Log | Holds your fill-up entries so the log is still there next time. Never sent to us. | Until you press Clear data or clear your browser's site data |
dm-handover | Browser storage (this tab only) | Calculators | Carries your annual fuel figure from an industry page calculator to the Business-Value Assessment. | Deleted when you close the tab |
What we do not use
No analytics, advertising, social media or other third-party cookies. Our fonts are served from our own server, not from an outside font service. The "Open in Google Maps" link opens Google's own website only when you click it.
Removing them
You can delete the cookie and the stored items at any time in your browser's settings (usually under Privacy, then Cookies and site data). The site still works; you may just need to choose For Industry or For Vehicle Owners again.
